Drive by wire is sort of a new driving experience.

On the neu S6 I thought the lag was some trans. defect. only to

learn later that (uhmmm) "S" is for Sport mode (not "Second" gear)

D'oh what an idiot! Again

"D" is set to shift into second very quickly, "S" holds first until about 3600rpm IIRC.

But

It is all still wrong.

"S" is actually "Suck down gas mode."

I figured out all the paddle shifting foolery and wisely turned it over to it's new owner, my wife.

All that said, the wide tired, hard riding, stiff seated, uber electrotonic gadgetized, V10, is INsane.

Funny, I thought of you earlier BULLogna - coupla hours ago we were burning Alumibitch around the lot here @ work and came across our bldg manager...  thought it was you for a bizarro second (or um er Allison).  Black //S6 V10 lit up with the instantly recognizable LED's.  I commented to Norm (//SFest Jamaican Beef Patty Mon) "Bill w/ the red Savant just got one of those".  COOL, he says.

We werest burning around as I was making him do blow me skirt up Alumibitch flyby's soest I could hearest der neuly installed pair 'o "race" cats (look like glasspacks to me), and neu Xpipe to take place of OE Hpipe.  Newfound tach willingness is giiiiiddddddddy.
