I’ve got old and new truth and old joy and very old there is no substitute.

Mainstream Old truth I think really began with miss piggy in ’92 where I
know that car sitting in the showroom was such an OMG WTF is that experience
that my late bro in law whilst awaiting P car service, was so blown away
that he drove it off the floor.  My sister still drives it but must sell
soon since ya know, if you gotta pay for every little fix, it’s a killer and
often may not even be fixed.

Ultimately though, they mucked up the suspension, so the newer ones needed a
new suspension, brakes, sway bar and RS2 crap.  Steering suks and remains
Audi dead.

Neu est truth to me prolly starts with the S5 and better weight balance
although I have never driven one.  But, I have driven the neu S6 and this is
good because they have added power, brakes and suspension in
abundance.  Steering
is improved.  The interior makes you feel like jet pilot.  Not for
motorcross but great for a trip to vegas.  If I ever scam this car from my
wife on a permanent basis I would scam with Tozo (tranny genius from D2
forum) to put in a manual.   4400 lbs. is crazy, but  offset by the equally
crazy V10.

Old joy e36 M, is as good a handling car as I’ve ever driven (steers
unbelievable) and stops great.  Interior not comfortable, lotsa plastic and
not great fit and finish inside.  Could use more power but is the go to car
for DT bombing around the city trips.  Grins galore mostly because of old
school low weight and simplicity factor.

Old school P car is lightweight underpowered fun.  The 35 yr old braking and
steering is as good or better than today's best.

I would have loved to seen the TTRS come over here but, oh well… maybe S1
pocket rocket thing would be cool if they don’t over weight it.
