Hi Y'all,

I guess I'm showing my age again but when I was a child, oh so many 
years ago, the kiddy seat had not even been invented yet.  Ditto for 
my now 50 year old "kids".  Yes, you want your kids to be safe but 
even the best seat is useless unless it is installed in a car which 
has been involved in an accident.  The best "safety feature" of any 
automobile is a skillful and aware driver.  If the car is never 
involved in a collision then any car seat becomes simply another 
piece of in the way paraphernalia.  Go ahead and get your "best seat" 
but even more important is to remember the mantra "keep the shiny side up".
