[s-cars] Small Vaccum/Boost hose repair technique needed

Fellow S-Heads,

Is there a way to mend a break in those small diameter vacuum/boost  
hoses that run to things such as:

The ECU
The Fuel Pressure Regulator
The pneumatic door lock actuators

My hope is that there is some sort of shrink fit tubing that could be  
used to join 2 ends of these small plastic lines. Something that will  
hold when pressure or vacuum is present. I'd prefer not to have to  
run new lines, just patch where it has broken.
