Mike,
I have Hawk HPS pads in 993TT calipers on RS2 brackets over D2 A8L
rotors. I do not have deposits, nor have I ever had deposits. I
bedded them in via the 90 -> 5 -> 90 (x10) and have run them since
with no hassles. I think the garnet paper and a re-bedding like I did
should help you out. Stock pads for the Porsche application, IIRC,
are Textar.
I've liked my HPS pads so far. They howled a bit to start, but I
rebedded them, and they shut up. :)
