Hey guys

I just picked Da Monstah up from Brendan this afternoon and I was able to
log numerous on da road pulls to feel what’s going on with this car. This
is the first time I’ve been able to drive the car since it had its dyno tune
for E-85. First of all since there was absolutely no head room at 28 lbs
of boost, Brendan wisely backed things off down to 24 lbs until the larger
injectors get installed this week. I was, of course, disappointed but cooler
heads prevailed and the car is at only 24 lbs. I guess that’s close to
600hp at the wheels so I’m not too disappointed. I just shared with Tufty and
Brendan about my concerns. The car has no feeling of tapering on the boost
or the power.

Every car I’ve ever driven from twin turbo Porsches to Vipers, all had
some feeling of taper as you approach the top boundary. There is none in this
car. It’s kind of addicting. You just want to keep your foot in the
accelerator. I told them that we need to get the shift light installed pronto. I
was able, for now, to keep one eye on the tach but I don’t know if I’m
gonna be able to do that at the track. This car has just got to be felt to
believed. The really amazing part of this has to do with our mile high altitude
and the fact that we’re doing all of this with minimal oxygen. Someday I’
m gonna bring it back down to sea level just to feel what that’s all about.
That’s all for now so back to your regularly scheduled Sunday evening
programming.

Hap, wit dakine impressions not from Evahboost, Maguire
