[s-cars] Track car oil

It's sold through independent dealers rather than retailers. Kinda strange However, some random stores are dealers, so it's occasionaly stocked. Where I used to live there was a welding supply store I got it from. Now I'm pretty close to their DC in Richmond so I might start picking it up in person when I get down that way. Easiest thing to do is just buy it direct from their site. If you start buying a lot you can do their preferred customer thing. It doesn't take an enormous order to more than break even on that.

-Cheers!
Mike

I've heard good things about Amsoil also, and my Indy mechanic uses it exclusively. Where can you get it?

I've been impressed with everything I ever bought from Amsoil, not just
their engine oils. I've also heard some stellar reviews of Neo's
products, but no first-hand experience.

-Cheers!

I had been running Mobil 1 15w-50 Extended Performance, but cannot find it anymore. Since the car really only sees track use (maybe 1500 miles per year), I change the oil at the start of every season. I am willing to use a high end oil since it would be only a yearly expense and would like to protect the motor as best I can. Any suggestions?
