Konstantine:
I just went through this summer with my WIfe's Emerald Avant.
I replaced the mid muffler donut hanger twice over the last two years, re enforced it with tie wraps, and yet it still would occasionally hit the cross member and resonate through the body.
Finally gave up and replaced both the right side and both side transmission mounts, which resolved the exhaust hanging issue.
(of course on hot 95 F degree July summer day).
Project is doable from underneath using a pair of jackstands on the front subframe, would have been much easier on a lift.
