Condolences. I hate to be the one to say it but be prepared. The 'system'
does not give 2 dried up half r at t-shits about limited edition cars of which
there were only x number etc. unless that car is a Porsche 356 Continental
or Ferrari Daytona or whatever which has been registered as "declared value"
coverage with Llyod's of London etc. etc.

That's not to say you won't have luck, some have battled the great inzurance
deathstar and prevailed, just be steeled for the worst.  Generally they are
going to see your car as "just some 15 year old Audi station wagon... yeah I
guess it had the premium package back in the day, whatever..." and will be
uninterested in anything to the contrary.  112k will not be excitingly low
miles with a couple hundred thousand to go... it will be "yeah see it's got
over 100k, probably ready to junk anyway".

Sometimes it's hard to remember we live in a world view that others do not
share.  ;^)

Definitely wish you the best though... as I said, some have been able to
prevail.  My experience in similar situations was never good but the
fallback is to take the payout, buy back the "total" wreck for a few
thousand bucks and fix it anyway.  I think my CQ is still running around up
in NH someplace after being pathetically 'totaled' by my carrier...
