The C3 Audi 5000/100/200 was definitely a groundbreaking car. However, I
can't say that anything since then has been all that great in terms of
design, other than the Mk. 1 TT.
The Audi Space Frame is definitely an engineering accomplishment, but
nothing stylistically.
The A5/S5 is a great looking car, but it's nothing really groundbreaking in
terms of design.
Interior design, on the other hand- Audi has always been at the forefront in
terms of clean, great-looking interiors.
That Quattro concept is horrible looking- look at the 987 Boxster/Cayman,
the current Z4 for examples of nice looking sports cars.
