[s-cars] Heater not working

The K-Y connectors for VAG-COM are behind the HVAC head  - I have been told
this but never used them myself.

Am I mistaken or has no one suggested climate control diagnostic codes yet?
It's usually pretty good at recording codes even before it fails let alone
after.
