[s-cars] dropped a coil

You know, this whole ignition coil thing reminds me of the Saabs- 9-3s and
9-5s lose the DI cassette (basically the same thing as the ignition coils)
all the time- most experienced owners will keep a spare cassette in the
trunk. Sounds like you're doing the same thing, Bob. :-)

Has anyone determined whether the later B7 A4 or B7 S4 coils fare better?
I've heard of LS2 coil conversions, but LS2 coils are not cheap, at least
the aftermarket ones are not- MSD coils for my Corvette are $800 for the set
(I know it's 8 cylinders vs. 5).
