Brian,

BTDT, easy job to replace.  The pan, I believe, is a dealer only part and since it is easy to replace I would think that the dealer labor would not be all that expensive.  When my kid holed my oil pan she drove it for an additional 10 miles.  I just replaced the pan added a full load of Mobil-1 and since then it has accumulated 15 to 20K miles with no problems.  BTW it took about 1/2 hour for the lifters to full quiet down.

Hi lists,

Friend with an ATQ engined A4 just ran over a large object on I-95, the
truck in front of her let go (of course, the derelict kept going) which
destroyed the lower oil pan and she's looking for a competent shop
recommendation in South Philadelphia.

As I type the car is getting put on a rollback with no place to go,, other
than the hospital she was driving her passenger to...

Time is of the essence and a quick reply is appreciated if possible.
