[s-cars] V85 defrost flap motor replacement

Anyone ever successfully replaced the V85 (I think) flap actuator deep
within the depths of the center console?  The Bentley says to remove
the rear and center consoles which I have done but that does very
little it seems in terms of gaining access to the flap motors.  Just
about the best and darn near only view of these elusive bits seems to
be from the driver side floor. The manual makes it sound straight
forward but it isn't. ;-)

Kinda wishing the car would just ignite itself and I could walk away. Heh

Any pointers to maintaining sanity and getting at this bugger?  Don't
say beer. ;-)
