Paul- thats the dreaded brake slave cylinder assy thats given way to wear. On QW
there are threads pertaining to a recent DIY. Owner did a R&R while upside down
on the drivers seat.
PITA, but doable.
Brad ( Thetatau78 ) has an entire cltch/brk pedal assy for sale that I passed on
at SFest. Maybe he'll chime in.
GL.
PS- might as well change the clutch one while you're down there.

Subject: [s-cars] Brake fluid on driver's feet
  S-Wisdom,
Patient is a 95 S6 that has dripped most of the brake fluid reservoir
into the driver's feet and carpet. Seems to have started just this week
(I noticed the toes of my left brown shoe was dark like it was wet but
it hadn't rained in a few days). Today when I had a chance to look at
it in the day light, I could see what looked like wet carpet but it
didn't feel like water - Pentosin it was. Red brake light came on
Wednesday night too. The reservoir is almost empty.
What is the likely culprit? Nope, haven't pulled codes but I'm heading
that way next.
Paul Dooley
95 S6
