[s-cars] Brake fluid on drivers feet (or, how I drive with two left feet)

Easier seen under the hood behind the brake master cylinder, Wylie.
It has a rod that extends through the firewall and attaches to the
brake pedal. The booster uses hydraulic fluid to add power assist to
the brakes, so if it leaks at that end the hydraulic fluid can run
down the rod to the pedal area. To add enjoyment to any work done on
the booster, it has studs on the part that extend through the firewall
and nuts are
installed on the inside. I will just leave you to imagine removing
and installing those nuts and connecting the rod clevis to the brake
pedal arm. I think there is an account of the agony experienced in
the FAQ.
This problem is undoubtedly the clutch master cylinder since the fluid
was identified as brake fluid. The brake booster has only a
mechanical connection to the brake master cylinder and no other
connection to the system containing brake fluid.
