Definitely no worse than that piece of crap rear-timing-chained 4.2 that you
have in the A6 4.2 and the S4.

I just saw an '05 S4 come out of the shop with a $9k job because the chain
tensioners fail on the 4.2, regularly, even with a well-maintained not
abused car.
