Well well well, I thought it was just me.... My entire front end isn't OE anymore ie, cut down strut housings w/coilovers, solid subframe bushings, Koni dual adjust race shocks, camber plates, spherical bearing control arms, etc, etc. and I get the same squeeks.
It sounds like sumthin needs to be looobed. maybe it's the swaybar bushings cuz I can't think of much left....
What say you s-car nut cases????

Hello all,
After replacing my suspension components - S6 Plus (GP) springs,
Blausport struts (bumpers, shock mounts, strut bearing, hardware), tie
rods, control arms. I'm getting an annoying squeaking/creaking, when
going slowly over dips or bumps, when the springs decompress/compress. I
also get some noise when turning the wheel left or right, it "knocks" a
bit, when hits a certain spot. This problem comes and goes, which makes
it tricky. I pulled the strut assembly out disassembled it, and checked
the strut bearing and made sure it was put back in the proper position,
actually seemed to make it worse. There was no issue with the struts
fitting tightly into the housings.
Could the new springs rubberized coating be binding against the rubber
strut mount? I'm out of ideas....
No problems with the rear - quiet and tight.
Thanks in advance.
Bill
