[s-cars] Heater core brand choice/discrepancy ?

Brian,

There are too many horror stories of Meyle heater cores bursting after 6 months 
pouring hot water on driver's
feet and stranding them, this is one of the time's to buy an Audi part.

I just bought mine from genuineaudiparts.com which is Miramar Audi, in fact it 
was delivered today.
Local dealer wanted $238, delivered genuineaudiparts.com's price was $147.

Hi list,

My HC has been bypassed since last March and its going to be that season
again..

I was just quoted $60 for a Meyle heater core locally.

Price sounds fine but I dont see another brand available.

Wondering if theres a heater core manufacturer either proven or problem, or
if theres even a choice outside of the dealer, which might be Meyle anyway?
