Okay then, in order to beat today's rain, I had to work past dark by the
light of the Sears drop light last night.
It's all good!

Voila!  No coolant leaks.  Everything blows:)  Will find out about H2O leaks
when I get home, but I think it will be good.
I used some Autozone windshield set goop and a rubber weather seal strip
from Home Depot to sort of make a new gasket.
Anyone know the part number for the metal strap over the heater box by
chance?  I could use a new one for sure.
Other than that it's all new ish under there and it all went back together
pretty easy really.  I would recommend to take a lot of pre disassembly pics
