[s-cars] How does it know your headlight ain't on?

I have no doubt this would happen. In my extensives DMM testing I even
tried testing the 'input' pins on the bulbcheck relay one by one to see if I
could figure out which 'sense' lead was triggering it (I think there are 3
or 4 inputs to the logic... one for each headlight, one for turns, one for
brakes, maybe one for parking lights?) but I couldn't ascertain any major
difference between the pins. I'd been hoping for something like "ahhh yes I
see it's the lead from the brakelights that is different". Either I haven't
really understood how it works, or, my relay is just bad.
