[s-cars] engine mount difference for AAN?

I used to be a project engineer for GM in my younger days, and worked on
engine mounts for several years. Unless you are driving a dedicated track
car, I would not consider anything but the original mounts if you want to
preserve the ride and noise isolation of the original car. A lot of work
goes into determining the correct spring rate and damping for these parts.
Even the after-market parts do not meet the durability and dynamic
specifications of the original parts. Going with the vinyl and other plastic
compounds will dramatically change the isolation of the drive-line.
Just my 2 cents.
Jerry

That's the way I would go, Wylie. I would go for the street density mounts,
since I have heard the track density transmit too much vibration for a daily
driver.
