[s-cars] Boxster vs. bigger brakes

I've got Boxster calipers running 16" borbets:
BIRA system 1 brackets did not work with those wheels
ECS brackets did, as Cody indicated, credit card clearance...

My ECS brackets seem to be some cast aluminum format that cracked - so I
had 'similar' ones made by my local machine shop...

Really? I did Boxster calipers on a urS4 with A6 16" wheels and they
were credit card tight. Can't remember what rotor nor kit make, thought
it was BIRA system 1 though.

The Big Red/Big Black option running either 993TT rotors or the Euro S8
rotors will fit under some 16" wheels (UrS6 Avus, for example) but
clearances at the corners of the calipers to the barrel of the wheel are
credit card thickness or two tight. All other clearances are pretty
reasonable.

I would be interested in learning more details about this option.
  What parts are needed, etc.

It is Brembo, made in Italy.
