Before you blame the Blau mounts, I'd make sure that the metal "cup"  
washer which is supposed to sit between the top of the strut and the  
mount that's damaged is installed.

Those have been forgotten too many times over the years (btdt 2x) and  
without that cup, you can destroy any (including oem) mount within  
5-10 miles if the roads aren't smooth.

Easy to check: remove the single strut shaft nut, Jack up one side of  
the car, take off the 3 nuts with washers and remove the mount. The  
cup washer should be staring at you.
