[s-cars] BBK question

I just, 30days ago, changed pad and rotors to find that both of the ECS
brackets were split up the middle. Apparently these are cast pieces,
with bad casting (Only way they would split that way).

I also had a set of Bira brackets, but found that these offset the
calipers just enough so that my 16" Borbet winters no longer clear. So,
I had a new set of brackets made at the machine shop based on the
measurements from the split ones. Works like a charm.

Yeah, I have ECS brackets for about 5 years now and I heard they may not
be
the safest out there. No failures but I'll check them over good this
spring.
