[s-cars] In Search of a 6-Speed Allroad

The C4 S6 is a nice car...just not my kind of car.  I can see a lot of
people liking it, particularly as a big feeling, weighty, long mileage
cruiser, or stuck in Houston traffic, but it's not for me...and I HATE the
Tip.

Taka, I gave serious consideration to the V10 S6 when I was getting a
healthy car allowance at my last job. Powerful and smooth, and fantastically
appointed...but I still could not get away from the Tip factor, although I
considered that IF I got it, I could reprogram the Tip and even without
that, it could, possibly, learn a sportier style of action.  But each time I
got back into the RS2'ed C4 S6 avant, there was no contest.  Again, unless
there was to be lots of long distance cruising or stuck in traffic driving.
 That being said, I just may be put in a situation that requires a 45 mile
drive each morning instead of a 23 mile drive.  Both times I have made the
drive, in the B7 A4q and in the C4 S6, I got stuck in miserable traffic.  I
would also be put in the position of potentially shuttling high level
clients to lunch and such, so the 16 year old C4 probably doesn't cut it,
particularly with the current exhaust.  Got to get Paul's exhaust ordered...
