Glad to hear the surgery went well, Bob. Using the clutch should be a form
of therapy, unless that's what wore out your knee in the first place :) Hope
you haven't been double clutching all these years in an effort to extend the
life of the synchros!
Hope you are back to "normal" soon!

Hi Y'all,
It's good to be back among the ranks of the driving. Had knee
replacement surgery - the clutch knee, of course - a little over two
weeks ago. The surgeon finally cleared me for driving again. Monday
I drive with the better half to pick up Ms. Piggy (RS2ed urS6 with
all sorts of goodies) from my wrench's shop. (I figured as long as I
was having surgery that she could have some as well. Timing belt,
etc. New clutch. Valve job. Plus other small items of routine
nature.) The Pig is back to her rather special nature once again.
I'm better but not 100% yet - BUT - I'm driving again. Driving back
and forth from physical therapy. Life is fun. ;-) It's good to be
back among the ranks of the living once again. A few weeks of
therapy and I should be back to normal (at least that's what it says
here in the fine print). Or at least what passes for normal for me. ;-)
Bob
