So, the SR71 Avant finally showed Friday evening courtesy of Tom n
Jerry/Deliverance Auto & Canine transport service.  Don't ask.
Basically it's all good.  158k, $2200 and the lady spent $100 on a new key
for me (with a light that works... at least for now) and; a receipt for $350
she spent just prior to transport for new coolant and T connector and oil
change..
Car runs great.  Needs TLC and some matching wheels. + a journey to the edge
of the slippery slope.  Anyone need one or two 16" avus wheels?
Has some surface rust that needs to be sanded off and at least primed for
now.
Would make a great MaacoAvant but I'm leaning towards some kind of crazy 3M
wrappage.
FWIW I found the new oem RF lock transmitter at GAP for $63... and miracle
of miracle, it worked!
