[s-cars] Hypothetical mods

I'd even question most M-cars ever really appreciating. The M1 for sure,
the old 507 and it's retro update of the early 00's (really can't recall
it's name, sorry) are probably about it. P-cars, the limited models.
Basically, the only ones to really appreciate are all true sports cars. And
since Audi hadn't really produced one except the UrQ (sort of) and the R8,
it goes to show that there aren't going to be any appreciating Audi's. Sport
sedans, as desirable to own as they are aren't ever going to make it as
"collectables". It's funny on the other forum I'm on, peeps are struggling
with the same thoughts (Saab92x) talking about limited production, options
combinations etc. Sorry, it's not going to be a collectable either.
Oddity sure. There's one reason they're rare (same with the UrS). It wasn't
popular when it was out there (although the UrS was also expensive) so who
wants one now? The demand for them has only shrunk, not expanded. And
that's about the only thing that would drive up the "collector" value.
I say mod 'til you're happy (or 'til you've spent what you want to), they
take them well.
