I do agree, that E30 M3's do seem to have *some* collector value. But then
again (although essentially 2 dr sedan based) it's still a sports car, and a
limited production one at that intended as a homologation special. By the
time of the E36 they were just another production car. I think the appeal of
M-B's (not the SLR or the 300SL nor the current gullwing) is probably right
up there with Audi (although some of the *real* old wartime models probably
have some historic appeal).
