Bill,

You can always try "Red is a safety feature. It improves visibility and so 
helps protecting the endangered species of pedestrians" and "I noticed the 
vaccum cleaner/power blender I installed under the bonnet of the red avant 
is harmfull to the poor toads, sucking them off the road, so my conscience 
screams to me: Save the toads! Buy a N/A V8".
