[s-cars] urS6 Avant died after spraying engine compartment

Hi guys. I am back on the list again after a very long hiatus. 



Came back to Denver Friday from Glenwood Springs in my 95.5 urS6 Avant 

in  a  very heavy snow, long slog, slow drive. I decided to wash the extensive magchloride encrusted ice 

off the car immediately. Engine was turned off. In an afterthought,  I opened the hood and sprayed the engine compartment 

as well, using only water.  Got into the car and the girl would not start. :^( 

Pushed started it and drove it home.  Two days later, I try to start it and it will not crank. 

I charged the battery (not the problem) and checked every fuse. Still no go.  Checked the 

ignition packs on the engine firewall, nothing obvious there either.  Nuts! 

What or where should I be looking?  Thanks a bazillion!
