My dear sweet bride of 50+ years had five specific requirements for 
her new car.
1.      Station wagon style body
2.      leather interior
3.      AWD
4. `    Manual tranny (NO KIDDING!)
5.      It must not be an Audi.  :-(

I had one requirement.  The car needed to have enough under the hood 
to be able to get out of its own way.

We bought her a Subaru Forester 2.5XT.
