[s-cars] HVAC Error Codes - What do they mean?

Those codes point to flap servo motor issues. There are three servos. Central flap which controls the temp, defrost flap, and dash/feet flap I believe. Cycle the motors through use of the CC head buttons and you should be able to get a handle on what's not working completely. The servos are not cheap. Over $100 each if memory serves. The central flap can be accessed from under the rain tray and is the easiest to replace. The other two are accessed after removing the center console, and are a major pain to R/R. There are write-ups around, I would check the QW FAQ, and Charlie Smith's or Huw Powell's websites.

Good luck.

Thanks, Brian.
The air flow is obviously not going where it is intended. I get very
little warm air on the feet and when I turn the front defroster on,
there is very little airflow to the windshield. I was hoping that
someone out there has had similar problems and could point me to a
write-up or two.
I will search the places you mentioned, but was hoping to find a
shortcut. Not looking forward to tearing apart the dash to access
flaps and motors.
