John,
Not actually my question, sorry if I wasn't clear. I just find it hard to
believe that single-packaged bulbs selling at this price point coming off
the shelf at a dealer, world-pac vendor or ebay lighting seller are going to
be individually tested and matched. If they are truly matched and packaged
as a set from the factory, then I am mistaken.
I am pretty sure a gross mismatch would drive me nuts too. That said, I
took a calculated (read: $20) risk that they would be close enough to
satisfy my desires. When looking at the options out there for bulbs, the
prices that I was seeing for pairs that felt confident were quality items
from reputable sellers were considerably more than $40. If I didn't look
hard enough, shame on me.
Thanks,
Abe
