[s-cars] 95 S6 - A pillar microphone for cell phone

Thanks Steve.

Not sure I want to go all the way to the trunk and mess with the powered
microphone. Plan B is to install the microphone that came with the head unit
in the A pillar location and snake the wire down through the fuse/relay area
and behind the center console.

This has been done plenty of times- you can access the microphone (and
speaker, and power, etc. etc.) at the 20 pin connector in the trunk where
the factory phone brick plugged in. There are multiple writeups on
Audiworld's technical section. The only issue is that the Motorola
microphone is powered, so you need to build a small circuit to compensate.

Excellent.

Any ideas what that connects to or where the wires run? I'd like to leverage
the existing microphone and wires and connect into them somewhere below the
dash.
