[s-cars] update - was ping vs. rattle

You can't, or at least you shouldn't, turn down Audi 5cyl cranks. The 
surface hardening is too thin, even the smallest cut will get into the 
danger zone of possible unhardened journals. That's why undersized bearings 
for these are not made by any of the big companies.
