Interesting... But how does it look on the car Tony? 

I'm surprised, 80kms (50miles) per tank is a lot! I would not have suspected 35W lights would get you 80kms (50miles) more...

I like the concept behind DRLs BUT having the low beams on means one is using more MPGs. So, I turned off my low beam DRLs and wired in a set of Jom LED pods from ECS Tunng...

Using these have improved the mileage - I get about 80kms more per tank.
These LED units are 8W each as opposed to the 35W HIDs I have in the low beams.
