[s-cars] Fender Replacement - any BTDT?

Hi guys,
 
I'm in need of replacing the passenger side fender - damaged by a
previous owner and now rust is bubbling through the repair in a couple
of places. I have the fender on order.
 
Does anyone have a write up or advice?
 
Strangely enough, the dealer gave me a very good price for a new primed
fender ($270 Cdn) plus $250 for paint job. Not bad compared to the likes
of Shokan that wanted US$350 for a used one.
