[s-cars] satrerectircal woes - flowing again

Assuming this is not a rhetorical question - All Bosch starters and many others have two
flag/spade connector terminals. One is of course to enable the starting solenoid. The
other (current track 50) is a high current passthru that is not often used, but could
trigger something like a cold start injector, fuel pump or device(s) that is required
during cranking.
Of course, the solenoid terminal is the one that you don't see and is hardest to get to.

Yeah, always doin what I can to entertain the troops...
"What's THAT?" I exclaimed.
Well at least I found it on my own - this would have been much harder if one of you
jabrones told me or someone else noticed.
"WTF, since WHEN are there TWO terminals on the starter solenoid????" And why, I cried,
would my friends at Bosch put the one that was actually connected to something important
on the OPPOSITE SIDE of where the original one plugged in??? (Actually I'm not
completely sure of that. Pretty sure, but not positive. It's critical to my
self-esteem to use everything I can to try and assuage the shame which accompanies a
bone-head move like plugging the solenoid wire in on the wrong tab, then taking the
starter in and out time after time, all the while doubting whether I'd ever tie my shoes
again without help, before the light (finally) came on. I had a nagging feeling
something simple lurked close at hand - I kept singing "and you know, your darkest hour,
is always just before the dawn" while I
toiled...)
So that's it - got caught looking the other way in a game of 2-card monty, picked the
wrong shell and some streetwise kid took all my money. After I switched the connector
to the other tab the car simply started up, just like it's supposed to. Just like it
(nearly) always does. Another night in the naked city.
Feelin' humble.
