[s-cars] Help! Car won't start...

Right on.  That was my first post to him on the problem; get the ECU to
communicate.

The ignition switch is not selective in switching on items other than  
the starter;
otherwise it powers the bus, and it appears most of the ignition  
switched items
receive power.  I am not sure about any part of the issue because I am  
not there;
many times essential information is omitted.  My take on ignition  
switches is it
can't hurt, since, if it isn't broke, it will be.  I just would not  
start there without other
indications of a faulty switch.
