I think the pin can be observed easily enough by removing the sensor.
I know for
those of you removing the transmission that the starter comes off
anyway, but hopefully
Darren can find an easier way.
I agree that the ignition switch should be done just for the
practice. However, many are
finding that putting any undue strain on the connectors for the
instrument panel can cause
other problems, so care (and practice) are required for this operation.
