I've been running platinum NGK PFR7B for 7000 miles and having no problems.
So far they are perfect.

Taking "Dead Horses" for a a hundred; the link below is a seeming good take
on spark plugs.
I had finally gotten around to changing the badly leaking oil pressure
switch and after the pig sat outside in cold a couple daze, I started it up
to a consistent misfire.  I had been running the NGK iridium for maybe a
year?  It had gapped to oblivion.  Stuck in an old F5DPOR and allz well.
So, I guess I'll go back to these and call it a day.
