Alvin,

Coil number 4 has been the culprit of many a mis reported by the group. I've
been wondering if the EM is part of the problem - no. 4 has a restriction.
Cue RS2 upgrade!

So, you can replace the coil pack or alternatively go with an Apikol or
other replacement set.

I had two problems: coil pack and wiring breakdown. I went with Apikol and
have not had a problem.

My earlier reported mis issues turned out to be mis gapped spark plugs.

So the the last month or so, the car has been missing on and off that when
it happens it runs on 4 cylinders and car limps. It seem to only last for a
minute or two before it runs fine again. The culprit points to coil 4 as it
does not make a change when injectors are pulled. I have newer OEM coils
that are about 45-50k miles. No signs of discoloration on any of them.
Spark plugs are newer also. Swapped POS and still pointing to coil/cylinder
4.. If a coil is bad, won't it show all the time?
