[s-cars] My new '95 S6 Avant...

Hey guys...
After an extended hiatus due to an '09 A4 that met an untimely demise, I'm
back. My V8 is long gone (sniff), so this time it's a '95 S6 avant. I've got
some questions that hopefully have been addressed enough such that no real
thinking is involved...

-- Has a consensus been reached as far as what the best HP chip is for an
otherwise stock motor?

-- Before (or along with) a performance chip, am I a knucklehead for not
doing some other mod (intake/exhaust/intercooler/turbo/etc)?
-- How about lowering springs? 
-- And how's this for a newbie question: does this thing have an
intercooler?  I didn't see one, but didn't look all that closely.

 

In case it's not obvious, I've never owned a turbo 5-cyl before. so any
beginner pointers would obviously be appreciated.
