Most would recommend a "stage 1" or "stage 1+" chip upgrade, which is considered a best bang for buck mod.

Advise a rs2 exhaust manifold, not necessary but highly recommended as #5 exhaust valves run a bit hotter with the US stock ex manifold. Plus you'll be ready for the "slippery slope" as things progress...

Sure, euro S6+ or replica springs, also popular are 92 s4 (harder to get right on avants as the rear requires a spacer) H&Rs or eibachs.

Yes, look in front of your LH front wheel well from under the LH side. There's a "scoop" of sorts and there-in lies the side mounted intercooler. Front mounts are a popular mod.
