[s-cars] Steering woes

Have him get an alignment at a better shop. After an alignment if the steering wheel isn't straight it's the fault of a lazy mechanic. If the steering wheel is initially straight but it's normal position changes then you have additional mechanical faults. A good alignment shop can and will detect if there's something wrong and instead of sending the car away with a crooked steering wheel will tell you why and what needs to be done to rectify it.

As a professional I do from time to time find that when I aligned a car the wheel is slightly off center when I test drive it. When setting tow sometimes the wheel can move a tad and a crooked steering wheel can happen to the best of us. Sometimes you find that your reference point for what straight is wasn't right and while driving the wheel looks off. It's the responsible and honest mechanics that then will pull the car back inside and re-do the alignment to get the steering wheel straight. I'd say 10% of the alignments I've done may require a second setup to get the steering wheel perfect.
