Yes, that's correct. I recently had to do that- a friend of mine hit a
massive pothole with me in the car, he didn't have AAA card, I did- I
called, got AAA to fix the flat.

You need Plus or Premier for a long tow or it won't be covered. I have
Premier, covers something like 200 miles.
