On each side of the sunroof are 3 screws that set the height for the 
sunroof.
They probably came loose and are letting the sunroof droop.   I just 
replaced
my rain tray and that whole sunroof is rather tricky to work on.  If 
you know what you're
doing and have done it before it's easy.  I suggest getting out the 
Bentley manual and
follow it closely.  Your slowness could be due to crud building up on 
the guides and
cables.  If you need to replace your rain tray let me - I can give you 
further comments.
