[s-cars] Question about a "K26" turbo

A friend sent me an email about his "K26" turbo. (I haven't seen it).  I don't have the answer to his
 questions and thought somebody here (Scott J?) might have the anwers.  He asked:

"I was  wondering, could you help me sort out what I have going with my current turbo?
 It is a k26  EC50 38311 00004
                 5326-988-6411
Center bearing assembly- RO35885B
 
Is this "k26" I have the ability get me to 400hp with EM and 7a cams?
I was reading that 26psi was required to produce 400hp in the 2.2 (approx)
Or do I need to spend mo money on turbo too?"

Hope somebody has the answer (mine would be buy a GT 3071 from 034).
